I was so damn busy since the heavy flood in Hanoi at the first day of November, from cleaning the office to many kind of works.

I was going around and around these day, north to the south, provinces to provinces, running as a horse

One remarkable thing is the barcamp saigon held in 15-nov-2008, it was an interesting barcamp, where the geeks meet, people working in the IT industry came and share experiences through many talking and presentations.

Then I visit some of my relationship in the Ho Chi Minh city, most of my cousins are living here. And an amazing thing I discover is, brother of my grand father is the teacher of the Minister of Education – Deputy Prime Minister, which have very close relationship with him, almost every 20-11 (teacher day), the Deputy PM came to his house and give the greeting to him, that sound good.

Back to the North, and do some trips which will lead us to some good projects in the next months. Also we done the training job for the pilot project with MIC - haft of the way walking. Then back to Ho Chi Minh city for another project, and drinking =)) – and several provinces in the Northern, so much time spending on traveling around.

And in the midle of December, we participate the biggest event of the e-Gov in Vietnam, the Vietnam e-Government Simposium 2008, which so many leaders all around Vietnam joined the conference in 2 days.

Then afterward, we join the event 3G conference with Qualcom – where we will have a corporation soon, and in the mean time, we will may have their support on one of our project on providing content on the 3G network with the new 2D barcode technology in mobile phone. I have an interesting talk with Mr. Johnson – Senior Manager of Qualcom, he look so like Obama

In the next few days, 1-jan-2009, I will go to Hue City for the corporation with the Hue University, then 3-jan-2009 go to Ho Chi Minh city again, back to Hanoi in 5-jan-2009. See you all around later then.

On October 15th 2008, Ministry of Information and Communications coordinate with net-Com Southeast Asia to organize a seminar “Projects and Experiences of German with e-Government” in Hanoi. Participators including Mr.Nguyen Minh Hong- Deputy Minister of Ministry of Information and Communications, leaders of net-Com Southeast Asia, representatives of ministerial relevant agencies.

It’s really dangerous when having a spy (even have or not have intention to sell the information). I had discovered a spy on the company of sister Cuc, when making some maintainance work on the server. One of her employee is spying all the email of all the members in the company. It’s really bad, cause all the important information, he got it.

I just clean and block him from accessing the system. It was a nice shock.

After the signing 4-partner contract between MIC, net-Com, Bac Giang province, a district of BG in the last 25-8-2008. Today after doing the pilot project for sometime, we now officially sign for the contract of the pilot project (the project has been started for more than 6 weeks until now, nearly done the project .. ^^).

And also today, we came to the airport to see Mr. Sander off back to Germany.

After 3 working days with Mr. Sander, the result from MIC, Woldbank project, KAS fund, e-School project are quite good. Much expectations on these projects.

Just come back from the meeting with the Vice Minister of MIC Nguyen Minh Hong, organized in the Ministry Conference Room this morning 15.10.2008. We were invited to make a presentation and also to share some experiences on the eGoverment. Came here for the presentation are also many important officier in the of the National IT Application Standing Committee. Mr. Sander from net-Com in Germany came to make the presentation, and the feedback here is quite good. About 25-30 people joined, and they pay a lot of attention to the presentation.

The topic to discuss there are some eGov projects in Germany, Electronic signature (digital signature), Powers Finder (state and federal authorities information center), Electronic forms, Standardization (standardization of data formats and interfaces in government), Unified Services Directive.

We discuss about the experiences, standard, structure, … of the eGoverment, and  also showing some of our new product there. They feel like interesting.

Ngày 15/10/2008 tại Hà Nội, Bộ Thông tin và Truyền thông phối hợp với Công ty net-Com ( CHLB Đức) tổ chức Hội thảo “Chính phủ điện tử – Các dự án và kinh nghiệm của CHLB Đức”. Dự Hội thảo có Thứ trưởng Bộ Thông tin Truyền thông Nguyễn Minh Hồng, Lãnh đạo Công ty net-Com, đại diện các Vụ, Cục liên quan thuộc Bộ Thông tin Truyền thông.

The last week was a little bit busy for us, when preparing for the next conference with the MIC in 15.10.2005 (only net-Com making presentation, advices for the Minister, and all the departments of the Ministry of Information and Communication). We had invited Mr. Sander, net-Com germany to come to make a presentation here also, tomorrow 14.10.08 he will arrive in Hanoi and a busy calendar for the whole week. The topic to discuss there will be Electronic signature (digital signature), Powers Finder (state and federal authorities information center), Electronic forms, Standardization (standardization of data formats and interfaces in government), Unified Services Directive.

The last week also is a busy week of discussing for the security project in a northern province, which mentioned in the last post, worth $100k, is now raising to $135k. Good when we have more money to spend in the project but the content is changing a little bit, so it takes time.

The last week is also a memorable time, when my best friend marry my sales manager. We have came to their hometown to celebrate, and then enjoy a nice time in the beach nearby. It’s a good time so. Happy Wedding ! Long live your love !
